Matias Soto is the director of innovation & entrepreneurship at Andrews University. He's also the CTO od Drymax, a concrete waterproofing admixture company with operations in Brazil and USA.
Prior to his role at Andrews, he worked as a Fellow developing medical devices at Fannin Innovation Studio, as CTO of a construction technology startup, and as founder of an engineering and materials science consulting company, Covalent Innovation. His degrees include a Ph.D. in Materials Science and NanoEngineering from Rice University, a master's in manufacturing systems from Tecnológico de Monterrey, and a bachelor's in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin.
